Ladies Halloween Open Rules

R&A rules, Congu guidance and Club policies apply for this competition. The maximum Handicap Index is 36.0 for the competition, entrants with a Handicap Index over this must play off the maximum. Playing Handicap is 85%. The competition is played off the Red Tees. The Competition is limited to amateur golfers who are playing members of a recognised Golf Club and have a WHS handicap number. Entrants without 6 qualifying competition scores within the previous 12 months, prior to the date of the competition, may enter the competition but their team will not be eligible for a prize. Entrants may be requested to provide proof of handicap. The Club reserves the right to refuse entry without providing a reason. Score cards must be returned immediately after play by placing in the box provided or handed to the designated open competition organiser. In the event of a Tie the results will be determined using a count-back method. All decisions made by the Club’s Opens Committee are final. The Club have the right to amend, at any time, the conditions of play.
Payment and Cancellation policy: Full payment is required on booking. A booking maybe cancelled if payment is not made prior to the date of the competition. Full refunds will only be given if cancellation is requested more than 7 days prior to the competition. For cancellations requested within 7 days of the competition a 50% refund of the entry fee paid will be given. If cancellation is requested with 48 hours of the competition no refund will be given.
Course Closure: if an open competition fails to go ahead due to course closure (e.g., bad weather), you will receive a full refund of the entry fee paid, or your entry will be transferred to another competition subject to availability.
Users of golf buggies both personal and rented from the Club must adhere to the club’s Golf Buggy Policy.
